A very overlooked problem is the way we view food. We used to think of food as a substance that kept our bodies alive. Food has become psychological now. Large corporations are brainwashing us to eat what they want us to eat. If we are bored eating has become an activity some of us do to kill time. Some of us eat when we are sad ( because pizza can solve all my problems). We go out to eat to be social .We view food as pleasurable now, and use it to fulfill cravings. Food should be viewed as fuel for your body because that is what it is. We need nutrients that help our body function at its best. We are seeing more fast food,and packaged food then we see food that we actually need. Food is marketed to fulfilling emotional needs. The top food companies are supporting the development of "food substances" that look better and are produced faster,and have no nutritional value. Health should be more important than our cravings. If you start making the right choice for your body you will stop having cravings for all the processed food you eat. Processed foods are easier and cheaper to make which is why the corporations want you eating them. They want to make their money. I can bet you have never seen a commercial on TV trying to get you to buy fresh zucchini, but how many commercials for frozen and prepacked dinners have you seen?
